why do we put so much into destruction ???

We have been given the gift of knowledge, why does man use it for the destruction of the world !!!
So much of this knowledge could be used to save and help those in need.
It saddens my heart to see the wasted energy spent on war and it's horrible outcome !!!
There are to many disasters that will do this, God help those who bring destruction in this world!!!
After I wrote this blog there was a comment made about War is business and I agree. I also know that to save the children and the suffering in this world no one would make any money. This is a sad fact but true,
I call it greed and selfishness, regardless if it is America or other countries at fault.
Is there no room for peace in the world anymore?
