To the woman I love, to the woman who has my heart,

I speak softly to you with words of our unconditional love,

to the stranger whom I yet to know,

I offer her my heart to forever cherish and keep it aglow.

I see your face, I thirst for your kiss, I reach

out to hold you and feel the comfort of your warm

embrace, to the stranger waiting over there

offering me her heart to cherish and keep forever.

You are the woman of my dreams, you have

my heart you have touched the inner soul,

but is distance getting in the way, making you doubt

watching our dream fade away, I ask the stranger

waiting over there.

Oh yes my dear, true feelings are there you have enlightened

my heart with the presence of your love, the tears

of your emotions show the confusion in your mind, I wonder

if it is a dream as I miss the stranger over there.

Together we will be as one, confusion and doubt

have gotten in the way, making clear hearts dark

and cloudy like on a rainy day, I see the stranger
